TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Governor Ron DeSantis unveiled a list of nine separate sales tax holidays/exemption periods that will apply to a host of items including children’s books, tools and even gasoline.

One of the newest sales tax holidays takes its name from a fictional TV show, “Tool Time.” The Tool Time sales tax holiday will run from Saturday, September 3 through Friday, September 9. It will apply to the retail sale of eligible items related to tools commonly used by skilled trade workers.
