This opening is with an award-winning Residential Design and Architectural firm in the Northern Orlando area. They are growing at a rapid pace and searching for career-minded drafting professionals to join their team!

At this time we are only seeking drafters with previous/current residential design experience. Commercial Architecture and Interior Design will not qualify for this team. Must have knowledge of FL residential codes (Hurricane, etc.).

The CAD Drafter will be responsible for the following functions:

Drafting of residential Architectural plans using computer aided design programs (AutoCAD or Revit)
Producing full construction documents in a production environment
Communicating with internal and external clients
Maintaining project records
Performing project administration with the assistance of your team leaders.
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with AutoCAD within Residential Design (Revit experience a plus)
Some knowledge of common Florida Building Codes
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Strong AutoCAD skills, preferably in the most up to date versions. Revit experience is a plus.
Must have some understanding of Florida Building Codes and construction practices
Experience in residential design and documentation
Experience working on full construction documents
Team player with a great attitude
