Job Summary: 

The primary responsibility of the SEO Coordinator is to curate (edit, upload, audit, measure) all website content for the M/I Homes website. This role will be a champion for improving the quality and quantity of content supporting our communities, homes and plans. Must work collaboratively with internal teams in multiple cities, as well as external vendors. The candidate should have experience conceptualizing, executing and measuring large organic search campaigns. The candidate should have a basic understanding of SEM methods (PPC, Keyword Research, Link Building, etc) as it relates to website content.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the organic search practice for all pages of the website
• Edit, upload and audit all website content – including writing and editing valid HTML
• Support internal teams with education and training
• Participate in monitoring and researching daily lead generation
• Compile and analyze data for ad hoc reporting
• Participate in digital marketing campaign brainstorming sessions
• Basic understanding of Google Analytics and web metrics
• Strong proficiency in Excel to generate traffic and performance reports
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Minimum Education Experience:

• 2-3 years of SEO or content curation experience

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent writing and copy editing capability
• Knowledge of WCM or CMS platforms
• Comfortable reading and writing HTML, CSS and XML
• Must be extremely organized, detailed oriented, and self-motivated
• Ability to prioritize and manage time
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn new technical applications
• Experience with CRM systems
• Sitecore knowledge or experience a plus
