Alair Homes Orlando – Project Manager  

Duties:  

The project manager provides overall direction and control of day-to-day field activities. This includes sequencing and coordination of the subcontractors in an efficient manner, allocations of manpower, materials, equipment utilization, overall management of the project safety plan and overall construction quality. The project manager is also a first line point of contact for the client and spearheads the project bidding process. The project manager also assists the Owners of the company with day to day responsibilities as they are assigned.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Project Start-up and Bidding  
  • Planning and organization of work segments  
  • Track job profitability for assigned projects  
  • Supervision of self-performed work  
  • Jobsite Safety  
  • Materials procurement  
  • Quality Control  
  • Close-out activities  
  • Liaison with owners, architects, suppliers, etc.  

Expectations:  

  • The Project Manager must have the desire to work in a dynamic construction company that is expanding its footprint in the Orlando and Florida market.  
  • Willingness to be “hands on” when necessary.  
  • Develop relationships with local subcontractors, owners, and architects.  
  • Join one trade organization that is approved by Alair Management, to network and expand the community footprint and reputation of Alair Homes Orlando.  

Benefits:  

5 days of paid vacation accrued on a yearly basis, unused days do not carry over
8 days of paid vacation after year 2, 10 days of paid vacation after year 5, 15 days of paid vacation after year 8  

Holidays Off: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thurs/Fri), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day  

Company Cell Phone provided or $50/month allowance 

Compensation for travel 

IRA account option – must be with company 6 months, Carta matches up to 2% of employees salary
