
Hardwick General Contracting – PROJECT COORDINATOR

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team for a long-term opportunity in Central Florida. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in luxury residential new home construction and renovations with strong skills in project coordination, scheduling, document management, and communication. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can effectively support project teams, trade partners, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Primary Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Documentation
- Document, utilize, and maintain project information in Construction Online (COL)
- Track and update project activities in COL, MS Teams, and shared directories (e.g., schedules, change orders, punch lists, and reports)
- Document work on each project daily through “Daily Logging” in COL
- Work closely with the Team Lead to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met or exceeded
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules, quality of work, and ensure compliance with contract terms
- Communicate project budget projects, schedules, and selections with clients.
Administrative & Document Management
- Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, permits, and compliance documents
- Assist in coding invoices and processing payments in collaboration with project managers and accounting staff
- Ensure subcontractor agreements are in place before work begins
- Support weekly dashboard meetings by providing project status updates on schedule, budget projection, and quality metrics
Communication & Client Support
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, trade partners, and internal teams
- Provide timely updates and ensure all stakeholders are informed of project progress
- Address and escalate any project coordination or scheduling conflicts
- Assist with client onboarding, including documentation, expectations, and schedule reviews
- Produce weekly reports for all assigned projects each Monday afternoon.
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all projects adhere to HardwickGC quality standards and green building initiatives
- Partner with third-party certification agents to meet FGBC compliance requirements
- Monitor and report any safety concerns or compliance issues on job sites
- Support the punch-out process and completion of final inspections
