We are in need of a Permit Coordinator, will be responsible for supporting project teams, ensuring compliance with company processes and obtaining/processing permits, and general office needs. This is a Full-time In person position.
Essential Job Functions
- Log and track submittals, and track status of outstanding items and permits
- Maintain communication with various municipalities
- Assist with Office Administrative duties and project specific needs
- Draft and submit permit applications
- Assist with inputting data into system
- Submit drawings for permit process
- Prepare meeting agendas
- Follow up with clients regarding to applications
- Coordinate all permits with clients, agencies, and team
Other Characteristics
- 2-5 years of experience as coordinator or administrative support role
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills in all levels
- Skill sets include the ability to multi-task along with strong organization
- Ability to work in a schedule driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and knowledge is preferred.
- Skilled in office machines: copier, facsimile, scanner, and strong computer skills
- Ability to work well under deadline pressure and handle multiple assignments concurrently
- Take initiative, work independently with little guidance, and work cohesively with a team
- Experience with Permitting process
- Knowledge and/or experience in Engineering Services
- Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude
- This is not a work remote position
