We are looking for a Service Tech for a growing team at a manufacturing and distribution company in Sanford, FL. We are Florida’s largest independent supplier of lumber, truss, doors and windows. We provide building materials for the residential building market statewide with locations in Jacksonville, Sanford, Clermont, Melbourne, Winter Haven, Tampa and Fort Myers.

Job Description:

• Tools of the trade are needed and can be discussed during interview
• Complete any necessary repairs to installed exterior and interior packages based on inspections from our field management team and our builders.
• Scope of duties include but are not limited to: door adjustments, trim repair/replacements, some stair related repairs and adjustments, hardware installs and adjustments, use of power tools.
• Works closely with homeowners. superintendents, office staff, ABS field managers.

Required Education and/or Experience:

• Clean driving record.
• Extensive carpentry capabilities.
• Ability to withstand heavy lifting, working overhead, long periods of standing.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Friendly disposition is a MUST. You will be the face of ABS!
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and adjust easy to change. This is a demanding and fast paced job with many deadlines.  Quality of work must not be jeopardized.

The applicant will be working closely with Homeowners and Superintendents; therefore, they will need to be friendly and communicative. The applicant must be able to work a flexible schedule and adjust easy to change. This is a fast-moving job that requires quick thinking and accuracy in quality of work.
