We are hiring a Construction Supervisor to join our growing team in the Central Florida area for long term employment and growth opportunities. It is preferred that the Candidate have at least 5 years of luxury residential construction experience including project scheduling, on-site project management, and background construction management applications.  The individual must demonstrate technical expertise, effective time management, exceptional customer service, while providing clients with the best possible homebuilding experience.

General Responsibilities:

 

Field Supervisor/Superintendent

 

Supervise Field Operations, Trade Partners, and Suppliers:

  • Attend and participate in daily production team meetings.
  • Coordinate and update 2-week schedule forecast and daily activities with Construction Manager (COM) and Project Coordinator (COR) and report on Construction Online (COL).
  • Update job status within MS Office365, Teams and the Hardwick GC COL account including daily logging by project and QB time tracking.
  • Report and review time, invoices, and project expenses each week with Office Manager.
  • Maintain continuous communication with COM, Owner, Homeowners clients, trade partners, and other office staff.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications both on construction drawings and electronically on Construction Online.
  • Maintain understanding of construction schedules, materials, methods, codes and standards of construction and attend training as directed.
  • Ensure proper material is delivered to job site according to project schedules with project Coordinator, COM and field operations.
  • Ensure proper project setup, maintenance, and cleanliness using the HGC Process Checklists.
  • Perform various construction labor activities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Hardwick GC Safety Program/Manual and report potential unsafe work conditions to COM and/or Owner.

  • Maintain a high degree of loyalty toward the company and Owners.
  • Maintain a cooperative relationship with employees, architects, engineers, trade contractors, suppliers, customers, general public, etc.

 

Support Company High Performance and Green Building Initiatives:

  • Continue to partner with Third Party Certifying agents to ensure certification objectives are met.
  • Coordinate activities in the field so that each member of the construction team (HGC and Trade Partners) is complying with the appropriate certification standard.
  • Compile documentation required FGBC compliance items. (i.e. site, erosion, etc.)
