Responsibilities:

• Oversee the scheduling and supervision of trade partner activities and evaluate the quality and efficiency of work
• Review and request modifications to construction drawings when construction conflicts arise
• Evaluate project schedules and determine appropriate modifications to schedules and resources to address the projects’ needs and ensure timely completion
• Ensure that each home is complete, on schedule and in compliance with all contract obligations, building codes and safety protocols
• Complete daily inspections to ensure job site adheres to state, federal, company safety and SWPPP standards
• Authorize payment to trade partners upon inspection and satisfaction of workmanship, quality and schedule
• Negotiate, create and authorize field purchase orders for materials and labor resources as needed while maintaining the ability to manage budgets and limit cost overruns
• Collaborate with executive staff in product, process and resource improvements
• Assist executive staff with trade partner recruiting and vetting

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)
• Construction Experience: 7 years +
• General knowledge of building codes, permitting and regulations
• Ability to read blueprints and surveys
• Strong knowledge of construction related software (Buildpro experience a plus)
• Good verbal and written communication
• Basic computer and technology skills (Excel, Word, I-Pad)
• Valid driver’s license
• High volume production construction experience a plus
