JOB DESCRIPTION: PROJECT ENGINEER

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited 4-year college required

EXPERIENCE: 4 to 8 years of civil engineering experience preferred

A successful Project Engineer will be able to:

· Prepare engineering documents including stormwater design reports, permit applications, and supporting calculations

· Coordinate with local jurisdictional authorities, utilities, and municipalities to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards

· Ensure a smooth operation and workflow to meet required deadlines

· Attend team project meetings to help facilitate the process of daily operations as items are due for submittals and/or reviews

· Provide daily job status reports to the President

· Maintain successful client relationships through excellent customer service and effective/timely communication

· Ensure quality control by reviewing all final prints before submittals are completed

Requirements:

· Site Civil and/or utility (water and sewer) engineering experience required

· Familiarity with modeling software (Water CAD, Storm CAD, ICPR)

· Thorough knowledge of MS Office products
