Dave Schmitt Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Client’s Land Development firm in Orlando. This person will support work on residential, commercial, industrial and resort type site development projects. Involvement in these projects will be including utility systems design (water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, etc.), grading design, and drainage design is required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience and knowledge from working in civil design
• 2+ Year if civil engineering/design experience
• Experience with grading and drainage design
• AutoCAD experience a plus
• Skilled in design for land development projects
• Assist with Coordination with local agencies
• Provide leadership and direction to engineers and designers
• Ability to work on several projects at a time while maintaining project schedule
• Manage and coordinate multiple projects and clients
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal are required
• Confident presentation skills for public hearings as required
• Can deal effectively with clients, architects, and other professionals

Job Type:  Full-time

Salary starting $60,000 per year
