HomeSphere is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support generating new business opportunities by qualifying leads and prospecting through existing business accounts to engage with potential buyers, promote HomeSphere solutions through demos and presentations and close new business. This position will be based in our Broomfield, CO office.
This position will focus on supporting HomeSphere’s new software suite release, MyHomeSphere. This role will provide support and guidance to existing customers and new prospects exploring the opportunity to implement this disruptive new technology. You will be the domain expert regarding this new offering, working with HomeSphere’s field sales organization, our Product Manager, and our marketing team to refine and develop messaging as new learnings emerge. This is a new and highly disruptive product initiative, so the successful candidate will be flexible and comfortable with change and ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate and develop the pipeline of opportunities for the MyHomeSphere suite
• Outline the benefits of the MyHomeSphere suite to prospects through customer presentations and demos,
• Communicate with users via phone, chat, email, and social media where appropriate
• Apply knowledge of computer software and hardware to assist users in understanding the MyHomeSphere suite of mobile applications and portals
• Provide problem resolution, reassigning or escalating advanced inquiries to appropriate technician or staff.
• Brief management periodically on progress, issues, trends, and learnings
• Maintain knowledge on developments, trends, and best practices for the newly developed HomeSphere applications
• Partner with Technical Support and Product teams to ensure production issues are understood and resolved in a timely manner and communicated to clients
• Work with other teams and staff in the support of the business

• Pipeline management through HomeSphere’s CRM, SalesForce.com

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
• College degree or equivalent training/experience in a related area.
• Technology background is a plus
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Compensation for this position is a combination of base salary and a quarterly bonus based on meeting performance goals, with an expected total compensation of $60,000 – 70,000 annually.
