We are in need of a Permit Coordinator, will be responsible for supporting project teams, ensuring compliance with company processes and obtaining/processing permits, and general office needs. This is a Full-time In person position.

Essential Job Functions

  • Log and track submittals, and track status of outstanding items and permits
  • Maintain communication with various municipalities
  • Assist with Office Administrative duties and project specific needs
  • Draft and submit permit applications
  • Assist with inputting data into system
  • Submit drawings for permit process
  • Prepare meeting agendas
  • Follow up with clients regarding to applications
  • Coordinate all permits with clients, agencies, and team

Other Characteristics

  • 2-5 years of experience as coordinator or administrative support role
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills in all levels
  • Skill sets include the ability to multi-task along with strong organization
  • Ability to work in a schedule driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and knowledge is preferred.
  • Skilled in office machines: copier, facsimile, scanner, and strong computer skills
  • Ability to work well under deadline pressure and handle multiple assignments concurrently
  • Take initiative, work independently with little guidance, and work cohesively with a team
  • Experience with Permitting process
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Engineering Services
  • Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude
  • This is not a work remote position
