Job Description
ProSource Wholesale Orlando, a Member-based wholesale Flooring and Kitchen & Bath showroom, is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Sales and Project Manager. This position is a great opportunity to build a rewarding career within an established company by taking each project from the first sales consultation to close, including preparing drawings and budgets, selecting and ordering materials, and consulting with other Trade Professionals to achieve successful project results. This position has the flexibility to use our 35,000 square foot showroom and warehouse as their home base, and to travel to local Builders, Designers, and other Trades Professionals to support them in their Flooring and Kitchen & Bath needs.
Examples of Duties
- Develop relationships with General Contractors, Builders, Architects and Designers.
- Demonstrate expertise on residential and commercial flooring products.
- Review contracts for scope of work.
- Value engineer products and selections to help meet budget needs.
- Establish product programs with suppliers for customer needs.
- Bid and follow up on projects.
Knowledge:
- Flooring, Cabinets, Countertops and/or Interior Finishes
- Sourcing Commercial project leads.
- Remodeling Process
- Commercial Flooring
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Excel
- RFMS Measure Mobile, or similar program(s).
- Traction EOS – general understanding if no experience.
Ability To:
- Develop solid, long-lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales and Customer Support Teams.
- Represent the ProSource brand in a positive manner.
- Determine and execute strategies to achieve goals.
Education and Experience
- Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in project management (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in the building or home improvement sector.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial flooring experience.
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
- Experience working with flooring, cabinets, countertops, and/or plumbing fixtures.
- Experience at and successful at prospecting.
- Natural relationship selling mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed with minimal supervision.
Physical and Travel Requirements
- Periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
- Daily drives to visit jobsites and to create and follow up on leads.
- Occasional drive to project site outside of town.
