Orlando Construction Manager

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to supervise the day-to-day construction of single-family residential homes in ORLANDO. We are a fully funded, established single family residential homebuilder that has expanded into the Orlando market. We own substantial land positions within Orlando and are going vertical!!

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and passion for the work and industry. Work collaboratively with all functional peers as a member of the Construction Team to ensure achievement of department and business goals. Become part of our winning team!

Compensation:

Competitive base salary, production bonuses paid quarterly, plus an auto allowance and phone allowance. Great Health Care options made available along with eye, dental plans and life insurance policies.

The Job Description:

· Manage a safe work environment by communicating and enforcing safety standards to trades.

· Maintain a clean and organized job site.

· Build sustainable relationships of trust with own Homeowners through open interactive communication.

· Inspect/validate workmanship and product quality to conform to Company Standards.

· Work with all municipality building inspector cultivating relationships with each.

· Utilize our online scheduling module multiple times per day.

· Be able to solve the ongoing day to day problems associated with trades, material and our Buyers.

What you will need:

· High school diploma/GED required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· A MINIMUM of 3 years experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction.

· Valid Driver’s license because driving is an essential function of this position.

· Ability to read blueprints and delegate work effectively.

· Ability to make decisions and solve problems.

 

· Knowledge of municipal permitting and regulations, construction management, construction related software, and Florida building codes. Local specification and Urban Infill homebuilding experience highly preferred.

· Self-starter with the ability to manage the construction of numerous homes simultaneously delivering them on time and in the budget.

· Strong verbal and written communications.

· Basic computer skills.

· Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction.
